Chrysalis Academy celebrates and welcomes all LBGTQ+, nonbinary, and gender-expansive identifying students, as well as siblings, allies, and advocates.

Recognizing that a family's needs sometimes arise mid-year, we are committed to rolling admissions that ensure timely support of students who need a change in school placement, as well as those who are exploring the traditional admissions cycle.

The Chrysalis team is equipped to welcome both neurotypical and neurodiverse students, including those with diagnoses of ADHD, mild-moderate language-based learning disabilities (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), CAPD and other mild-moderate processing disorders, executive functioning challenges, and ASD-1. We are not able to accommodate students with high-level behavioral or emotional disturbances, ASD above Level 1, or those in need of fully therapeutic settings.

Our application process begins by having a personal conversation with us about your family's needs and interest in Chrysalis, as well as your hopes for your student's middle school years. We start with this step to ensure a match between families and Chrysalis' specific mission.

Following that conversation, families will typically visit the school in person and then submit:

Tuition and fees

As an independent school, Chrysalis does not accept any government funding. Our program is completely supported by tuition, fees, and the philanthropic generosity of our families and donors.

While Chrysalis has the capacity to operate on a school-year schedule, it is also flexibly designed to accommodate students who are coming out of treatment programs, need a transfer due to bullying, school refusal, or other negative situations at their current school placement, desire a hybrid homeschool combination, or just need a reset or a bridge to their next educational environment. Therefore, the duration of a student's stay may vary and our tuition is billed monthly.

2025-26 Monthly Tuition $3850

One-time enrollment fee $200
